Apple iOS is most reliable for mapping
Over 75% of DroneDeploy flights are made with Apple iOS devices. We consistently see greater application stability, performance and DJI drone connectivity on the Apple iOS operating system.
Also, DroneDeploy offers official support for the following iOS and Android devices.
Recommended operating system: iOS 14 (iOS 13 minimum required) and 1GB of free disk space.

Live Map is a program that requires a powerful processor and ample RAM to work properly. We suggest devices from 2017 and newer.
There are over 1,000 Android device types used by DroneDeploy customers worldwide, and unfortunately, we cannot test them all. We officially test releases on the following prioritized hardware:
