Auto Export DroneDeploy Maps and Photos to Procore

If you know you want the most up-to-date site reality data in your Procore project, you may wish to configure an auto export, rather than manually exporting the data each time.

After you've navigated to the Auto Exports settings window within DroneDeploy and have configured the parameters for your export, you're ready to finalize the Auto Export by pointing it to a destination within Procore.

After selecting the Procore app, select the company, project, and folder within Photos or Documents you'd like your exports to land in.

You can see your configured Auto Exports under the Auto Exports Menu section. You can delete an Auto Export by pressing on the three dots next to the name of the Export or you can choose to run the export on the selected map.

Auto-sync your progress photos to Daily Logs

Similarly, you can ensure new DroneDeploy progress photos automatically are pushed to Procore Daily Logs with a simple flip of a toggle.

Step 1 - Navigate to your project settings in DroneDeploy

Step 2 - You will need to make a connection with an admin account that has the necessary permissions to the Procore project you would like to synchronize your progress photos to. Press "Manage DroneDeploy org settings" to set up your admin connection if you have not set it up already.

Step 3 - Select the Procore company and project that you would like to synchronize to and toggle on "Auto-export Progress Report photos"

Step 4 - Test it out by uploading progress photos with "Create a Report" under the upload tab

Step 5 - you should now see your progress photos attached to the correct daily log in Procore! You can even see them in your photo albums under the "DroneDeploy" folder.

Configure your admin connection

In order to leverage any of the auto-sync functionality, you will need a Procore admin account to facilitate the synchronization between the two systems.

If you are not the admin of your DroneDeploy organization, please ask an admin to complete this task.

  1. Navigate to your organization settings
